About Kelley, the Plant Based Kitchenista
Kelley’s plant-based journey began about 16 years ago, when her significant other was on many medications for heart disease, high cholesterol and high blood pressure and she was experiencing IBS and migraines. Kelley has always been a phenomenal cook starting at the age of 7 years old when she was responsible for having the family dinners ready when her parents arrived home. Baking and making all food eye-catching became a passion then and to this day. If you make your food eye-candy (bright colors and ingredients) you will enjoy it more and more.
Kelley is a plant-based chef and coach, and her true passion is about building community. She is the author of the Plant-Based Kitchen cookbook and is currently working on another cookbook. Kelley enjoys Pilates, walking, and anything furry. Kelley has a soulmate named Georgie, Havanese, and lives with her significant other, Jerry, a plant-based nutritionist.
